wtf @ this.

so i was looking through my friends’ myspace friends on her profile and i’ve noticed that a lot of people like to put “™” in their display names. this doesnt bother me if you use a “myspace name” (i.e: nicole narcotic™) or if it’s like your middle name AND first name or if its a quote those are fine.  But when it’s only your first name, I JUST DON’T GET THAT.  How could you possibly own your first name when at least 100 other people in the world have that name.  When it’s your middle name and first name, that’s different b/c you just might happen to be the only one with those two names in that order.  I just don’t understand.  It’s pure ignorance really.
